Our Seongsu studio was built around one enormous north-facing window, so almost everything is shot in soft daylight. The result feels calmer and truer to skin than a wall of strobes — never over-lit, never harsh. When a session needs a little help, we add just enough to keep it gentle and honest.
Great portraits come from relaxed people, so we spend the first minutes just talking — no clicking. Toddlers get to explore, newborns get fed and settled, nervous headshot clients get coached through the awkward part. Ease is the whole difference between a stiff frame and one you love.
A private online gallery arrives within two weeks with high-resolution downloads and a plain-language print license — but we'll also help you choose wall art and albums so the pictures live somewhere better than a phone. One photographer from first message to final print, no hand-offs.
Process
No mystery, no surprises. Here's exactly how a portrait session runs once you get in touch.
Send a short note through the booking form — who's being photographed, the occasion, and roughly when. We reply within two business days with availability, session options, and an honest all-in quote. Newborn dates are reserved around your due date, not a fixed day. No obligation and no pressure at this stage.
Once we're agreed, we settle the details: studio or on-location, timing around naps and daylight, wardrobe guidance, and how many outfit changes you'd like. A small deposit holds the date. For headshots and seniors we'll share a short look-book so we're picturing the same thing before the day arrives.
Family and portrait sessions run about an hour; newborns can take two to three, at the baby's pace, with all the feeding and settling breaks they need. We'd rather have real moments and a handful of true frames than rush a checklist. You'll see a few images on the back of the camera as we go, so nothing is a surprise.
Within two weeks you receive a private online gallery of fully retouched, high-resolution images — yours to download and share under a clear license. Then we help you turn favourites into wall art, albums and gift prints, professionally finished and delivered to your door.
